Acceptable Use Policy
The calling behavior AhoyDial permits, restricts, and blocks to protect recipients and the telephone network.
Permitted use
AhoyDial is designed for lawful, wanted, person-initiated calls by individuals and small teams to supported mobile and landline numbers.
Prohibited conduct
- Fraud, phishing, impersonation, caller-ID spoofing, harassment, threats, extortion, or unlawful content.
- Unsolicited marketing, robocalls, voice broadcasts, predictive, power, bulk, sequential, or list-based dialing.
- Calling a person who has withdrawn consent or a number you know is protected by an applicable do-not-call rule.
- Attempts to call emergency, premium-rate, satellite, shared-cost, sanctioned, restricted, or deliberately unpriced routes.
- Circumventing identity, account, device, destination, concurrency, payment, verification, fraud, rate, or geographic controls.
- Testing stolen payment credentials, reselling the service, or providing access to third parties without written approval.
Your communications obligations
You are responsible for identifying yourself accurately, obtaining any required consent, respecting do-not-call requests and registries, keeping evidence of consent where required, and complying with the laws that apply to the caller, recipient, and destination.
AhoyDial does not currently approve telemarketing or automated campaigns. A recipient asking to be called back does not remove other legal duties that may apply.
Protect the service
- Do not probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or attempt unauthorized access to AhoyDial or its providers.
- Do not share credentials, create deceptive accounts, conceal account ownership, or interfere with abuse investigations.
Enforcement and reporting
AhoyDial may block a call, destination, payment, device, or account and preserve relevant evidence when policy, carrier, legal, or risk controls are triggered. Severe or repeated violations may result in permanent termination and referral to a carrier, payment provider, or lawful authority.
To report abuse or request review of an enforcement decision, email hello@ahoydial.com with the relevant call or account reference. Do not include passwords, authenticator codes, or full payment-card details.
