Terms of Service
The rules for creating an AhoyDial account, buying prepaid credit, and placing browser calls.
About these terms
These terms govern access to AhoyDial, a prepaid browser service for person-initiated calls to supported mobile and landline numbers. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and the Acceptable Use Policy.
AhoyDial is operated by DevCreate Studio LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. In these terms, “AhoyDial,” “DevCreate Studio,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to DevCreate Studio LLC.
Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 18 years old, be legally able to enter into a contract where you live, and provide accurate account information.
- You are responsible for protecting your password, passkeys, authenticator methods, and active sessions, and for promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.
- One person may not create or control accounts to evade destination, payment, fraud, or usage restrictions.
The calling service
Calls depend on your browser, internet connection, payment status, Twilio, downstream carriers, and the destination network. A call may be delayed, rejected, interrupted, or unavailable, and connection is not guaranteed.
AhoyDial is not a replacement for a mobile or fixed telephone service. It does not support emergency calling, location delivery to emergency responders, short codes, or every destination and number type.
Rates, reservations, and billing
Before a call, AhoyDial displays the destination, rate, connection fee when applicable, billing increment, and estimated talk time. A temporary wallet reservation may be created when a call starts.
Connected calls are settled from the carrier-reported answered duration using the accepted quote and billing increment. Unused reserved credit is released. Corrections are recorded as traceable wallet adjustments; financial records are not silently rewritten or deleted.
Taxes, currency conversion, minimum top-up amounts, and payment-processing restrictions will be shown before purchase when applicable.
Payments and refunds
Credit purchases are processed through Stripe. AhoyDial receives payment status and transaction references but does not receive or store the full card number or CVC entered in Stripe Checkout.
Refund eligibility is described in the Refund Policy. A chargeback, reversal, or refund after credit has been spent may produce a negative wallet balance and suspend further calling until resolved.
Acceptable use and caller identity
You may use AhoyDial only for lawful, wanted, person-initiated communication. You may not spoof identity, mislead recipients, harass, defraud, send bulk or automated traffic, evade controls, or call blocked destinations.
You are responsible for consent, do-not-call, identification, recording, and other communications-law obligations that apply to your calls and the people you contact.
Suspension and termination
We may block a call, payment, destination, device, or account when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, protect the service or public, comply with a carrier or legal requirement, or enforce these terms. Where appropriate, support will provide a review path.
You may stop using AhoyDial at any time and may request account deletion from Settings, subject to records that must be retained for security, financial, legal, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Service changes and responsibility
We may change supported destinations, carriers, rates, or features. A new price is not applied to a call after you accept its quote. Material changes to these terms will be dated and communicated as required.
AhoyDial is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DevCreate Studio LLC is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses caused by service interruption, a carrier or network failure, or use contrary to these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty, remedy, or consumer right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and applicable federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes may be brought in a court with jurisdiction in Wyoming unless non-waivable law gives you the right to proceed elsewhere.
