Terms of Service

Draft updated July 17, 2026

The service

AhoyDial is a prepaid browser calling service. Calls depend on networks and third-party carriers and are not guaranteed to connect. The service is not a replacement for your mobile or fixed telephone service.

Emergency calling

AhoyDial does not support emergency calls. You must use a local emergency-capable telephone service to reach police, fire, ambulance, or other emergency services.

Acceptable use

  • Use only for lawful person-initiated calls.
  • Do not misrepresent caller identity, harass, defraud, automate calls, evade restrictions, or call emergency, premium, sanctioned, or blocked destinations.
  • Do not use the service for telemarketing unless the feature and jurisdiction have been explicitly approved and all consent and do-not-call duties are met.

Prepaid credit and calls

Displayed rates, increments, connection fees, and available credit are shown before a call. A reservation may be placed when a call starts and is settled from the carrier-authoritative final duration. Corrections use traceable adjustments rather than deletion of records.

Suspension and changes

We may restrict service to protect customers, carriers, and the public from fraud, security incidents, regulatory exposure, or prohibited use. Material pricing or service changes will be disclosed as required.
