Recording and Consent Policy

Default state
Call recording is off. Production recording cannot be activated until carrier approval, jurisdiction analysis, customer policy, consent mode, audible disclosure, retention, and access-control requirements are configured.
When enabled
- The interface identifies when recording is active.
- An audible announcement or explicit consent is required where configured.
- Access uses short-lived links and creates an audit event.
- If the policy cannot determine a safe consent mode, recording fails closed.
