Privacy Policy
What AhoyDial collects, why it is used, where it is processed, and how to exercise privacy rights.
Who is responsible
AhoyDial is operated by DevCreate Studio LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, which is responsible for personal information under its control.
Privacy questions and requests can be sent to hello@ahoydial.com or mailed to DevCreate Studio LLC, 30 N Gould St, STE R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States.
Information we collect
- Account and organization details, verified email address, roles, security methods, sessions, device and network metadata.
- Contacts you choose to save and call metadata such as destination number, caller ID, timestamps, status, duration, quality, rate, fees, and carrier identifiers.
- Wallet, receipt, refund, dispute, and payment-status records. Full card numbers and CVCs entered in Stripe Checkout are handled by Stripe, not stored by AhoyDial.
- Support messages, consent choices, fraud and abuse signals, audit events, and privacy-request records.
How and why we use information
- Create and secure accounts, authorize organization access, and respond to account requests.
- Quote, connect, control, reconcile, and support calls and maintain accurate prepaid-wallet records.
- Process payments, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce destination restrictions, and investigate incidents.
- Meet tax, financial, carrier, telecommunications, privacy, and lawful-request obligations.
- Measure reliability and improve the service using data limited to what is reasonably necessary for those purposes.
Call audio and recordings
During a call, browser audio is transmitted to Twilio and the telephone network so the call can be connected. AhoyDial does not currently record or store call audio or transcripts.
Recording is disabled. It will not be enabled without a separate consent, notice, access, retention, and jurisdiction policy and clear in-product recording status.
Service providers and data locations
AhoyDial uses service providers for hosting and security, databases, telephony, payments, email delivery, and operational monitoring. The current planned providers include Cloudflare, Neon, Twilio, Stripe, and Resend.
AhoyDial and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries where those providers operate. If you use AhoyDial from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations under the safeguards required by applicable law.
Retention and deletion
Routine provider payload and media-metadata retention is limited to 30 days. Account, call-accounting, security, financial, carrier, tax, dispute, audit, and legal-hold records may be kept longer when reasonably necessary for those purposes or required by law.
When deletion is permitted, account data is deleted or de-identified through the privacy-request workflow. Immutable financial, audit, and call-accounting records may be retained where required, with access restricted.
Safeguards
AhoyDial uses access controls, tenant separation, short-lived telephony credentials, signed provider webhooks, encryption in transit, protected secrets, append-only financial records, audit logging, and restricted operations workflows. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access, a portable copy, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal information, withdraw consent where applicable, or appeal a privacy-request decision. Identity verification is required before a request is fulfilled.
Use the privacy tools in Settings or email hello@ahoydial.com. AhoyDial does not currently sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If a request is refused or limited, AhoyDial will explain the reason and available recourse where required by law.
Children
AhoyDial is not directed to children and does not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to create an account. If you believe a minor provided personal information, contact hello@ahoydial.com so the account and information can be reviewed.
Changes and complaints
Material policy changes will be dated and announced as required. Privacy complaints should first be sent to hello@ahoydial.com so they can be investigated and documented. You may also contact the privacy regulator available in your jurisdiction.
